I remember that I was never a woman who used a lot of makeup either at school or at university.

I made a trip to Cauca (a region in the south of Colombia) to find plants with lightening properties such as Quinoa, Kojic Acid, which can be extracted from rice, or Glycolic Acid that comes from sugar cane. sugar.

There, in addition to finding many plants, I also found ancestral wisdom from our indigenous people of Cauca who taught me a lot.🤓

I initially started making formulas to create skin moisturizers and I was traveling several times to this remote place in Colombia that was well known for being very rich in biodiversity , but also because it is a guerrilla zone (armed groups outside the law).

By then when I was traveling to Cauca, certain peace agreements had been made between the Government and these armed groups, so the guerrillas had been partially controlled.

But unfortunately after many visits, we could not return to Cauca, because there were still guerrillas in the area and they also threatened us telling us that we could not visit those lands again.

Despite these difficulties, my constant fight to make this dream possible remained intact.💪

And after much travel and research, I found a Green Chemist from California, who had great experience in developing natural skin products.
