Let's celebrate Christmas! With Our Latin Traditions

Hello beautiful!💕
It's December and this month is full of many events with our family and friends. Nothing better than remembering some of our Latin traditions that cannot be missed during this season.
Here I share some with you because the most important thing is that we do not forget our traditions and our roots👇
🕯️Celebration of the day of the candles
This is a Colombian tradition that is celebrated every December 7th! On this day, a candle or a lantern is lit as a family in commemoration of the Virgin Mary.
It is also an opportunity to light a candle in gratitude for everything that the year left and for what you want to continue having for your life: health, love, family unity, etc.
🪅Mexican Inn
The posadas are celebrations that seek to recreate the pilgrimage of Mary and Joseph that they made for nine days before Christmas Eve. In these celebrations, people dress up as biblical characters, sing Christmas carols and break piñatas.
It is also an opportunity to get together with friends and family to share typical dishes and enjoy the unity of the holidays.
I hope you enjoyed this summary of some of the Christmas festivities that are very common in our Latin culture! Respond to this blog by writing to hello@zuebotanicals.com and tell us What is an activity that represents your culture and do you practice it during these dates?
Blessings,
